The process drives the rectified feed (95% v/v alcohol) through a bed of desiccant beads. To allow for bead regeneration, in the continuous operation, twin beds are provided of which one is in dehydration mode while other is regenerating exchanges taken place in few minutes. In the regeneration process, absorbed water together with the contained ethanol is released, which is recycled back to the regeneration column for reprocessing.

Finished Product: Rectified spirit: Purity is checked by GC and dispatched after blending it with 5 ppm bitterant and 0.5 % Denaturant in neutralized cleaned Tanker under sealed condition under strict supervision of Prohibition and Excise personnel’s. Absolute Alcohol: Moisture is checked by Karl Fischer apparatus. Purity is checked by GC Other impurities like aldehyde content, Fusel oil content are analyzed by GC.
